SMS Program Terms
Text message notification program · Last updated June 2026
These terms govern Metro Anesthesia’s text message (SMS) notification program. By opting in, you agree to these terms.
Program description
The program sends operational scheduling notifications — call assignments, shift swaps, vacation, and shift changes — to credentialed physicians and contracted providers of Metro Anesthesia who have opted in. It is a private workforce communication tool and is not used for marketing.
Consent
Enrollment is voluntary. You opt in by entering your own mobile number and actively checking the consent box inside the Metro Anesthesia scheduling application. Consent is not a condition of employment or contract; it simply enables an additional notification channel alongside email and in-app alerts.
Message frequency and charges
Message frequency varies based on scheduling activity. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier and plan. Metro Anesthesia is not responsible for charges imposed by your carrier.
Opting out and help
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time.
- Reply HELP for assistance.
- You may also turn alerts off in the app under My Settings → Text message notifications.
No PHI
Messages contain no protected health information. They direct you to log in to the application to view any scheduling details.
Privacy
Your mobile number and consent are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not share or sell your number to third parties for marketing.
Carrier disclaimer
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to carrier availability and is not guaranteed.
Changes
We may update these terms or the program from time to time. Continued participation after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
